This tour covers known haunted sites such as the “Motel of Death,” where numerous celebrity deaths have occurred and the former home of a Las Vegas legend Redd Foxx. His ghost continues to haunt his former home, despite the numerous attempts to exorcise it and send him on his way.
The tour stops at a wide variety of haunted spots and lets you explore to see what is lurking in the dark.
Here are just a few stops:
After it gets dark, take the tour’s bus ride to the Craig Road Pet Cemetery. Please however, be respectful and stay on the paved walkways to avoid walking on the resting place of families’ beloved pets. Also, bring a flash light with you for walking the grounds at night. It has been reported that if you sit in the dark, you may see paranormal activity. Sightings have included deceased pet owners coming back to walk their deceased pets.
Luxor Hotel & Casino has been reported to have several spirits roaming its halls. During construction of the hotel, several construction workers lost their lives in tragic accidents and several hotel guests have jumped to their deaths from the open-air hallways. Some say they have felt cold spots and even the sense of someone breathing down their necks. These occurrences tend to happen on the 12th and 14th floors of the Pyramid Tower of the hotel.
The former home of comedian Redd Foxx is one of the stops on the Haunted Vegas Tour. It is said that the funny man still lurks around the property and pulls pranks on the visitors. Doors have been known to open and close plus a variety of other mischievous events.
Originally, MGM Grand was built where Bally’s now sits, but a fire in November of 1980, killed 85 people and injured hundreds more. After the fire, the new MGM Grand was built at a different location on the strip.
Numerous accounts of paranormal activity have been reported over the years. Front desk employees have reported hearing people in the employee restroom behind the front desk. When employees have entered the restroom after hearing the sounds, there would be no one in there. Other sightings from guests have included people feeling a presence of someone and hearing ghostly footsteps on the hotel floors where victims were found.
